At Thomas Edison Charter School, education extends far beyond academics. We believe students thrive when they have opportunities to explore their interests, build meaningful relationships, develop leadership skills, and discover new passions.

After-School Enrichment
Learning doesn't stop when the school day ends.
Our SLAM After-School Program provides students with a safe, engaging, and enriching environment where they receive academic support while exploring new interests and developing lifelong skills. The program is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, leadership, and personal growth while extending learning beyond the classroom.

STEM Learning
Innovation is an important part of the student experience at TECS.
Students have access to our Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation STEM Center, made possible through the generous partnership of the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation, Exelon Foundation, and Delmarva Power.
Our STEM Center provides hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and innovation. Students explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through collaborative projects, engineering challenges, coding activities, and real-world problem solving that prepare them for tomorrow's careers.
