A charter school is a public school that operates under the terms of a charter, or contract, with an authorizer (in our case, the Delaware Department of Education). Charter schools receive flexibility in exchange for a higher degree of accountability. Charter schools are held accountable by their authorizer for upholding the terms of their charter.

Yes! TECS participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) which provides Free Breakfast and Lunch to all our students through the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program.
