TECS has put many preventative strategies in place to keep our school and community safe. Frequent COVID testing for students, teachers, and staff provides an important layer of prevention and is more effective, the more people we have participating. We need 100% participation (vaccinated people will be getting tested).
Please know we are thinking about your children and you as we develop our procedures. They will be with one of their teachers or a familiar face and assisted, as needed by a nurse. We want to make this as painless and positive as possible so we are making sure our protocols are comfortable for students. Please help us by not only registering (link below) but also by talking about testing in a positive way to your child!
All students will receive the antigen testing. Students in Junior Academy will be able to do this independently while our younger students will be assisted by a nurse. All students, who attend TECS in person, are required to register for weekly in-school testing (link below).
Testing is scheduled at school every Tuesday and will begin on Tuesday, September 7th. Your child’s COVID test results will be emailed to you directly by the end of the day.
