There is a required “uniformed” look for all students. We believe that a school dress code produces an increase in school performance and a decrease in the number of behavior-related problems. Below are the school dress requirements.
Girls: Red, navy or white collared blouse or polo shirt or TECS t-shirt.
Boys: Red, navy or white collared polo shirt or TECS t-shirt.
Girls: Navy or Khaki pants or capris; Navy, khaki, or navy/plaid knee-length skirts, shorts, or skorts.
NO mini skirts or short shorts.
Boys: Navy or khaki slacks or knee-length shorts.
Girls and Boys: Navy, white or Red cardigan, v-neck or crew neck sweaters. Sweater vests may be worn over collared shirts and blouses.
*Hooded sweathirts are NOT allowed to be worn in the building during school hours.
Girls: White collared blouse or Oxford shirt. Navy or red/navy plaid cross tie (optional) or TECS t-shirt.
Boys: White Oxford cloth or pinpoint dress shirt. Navy or navy/red plaid standard tie (optional) or TECS t-shirt.
Girls: Navy or khaki pants or capri pants; Navy, khaki, or navy/plaid knee-length skirts, shorts, or skorts.
Girls and Boys: Navy, white or red cardigan, v-neck or crew neck sweaters. Sweater vests may be worn over collared shirts and blouses.
We will do our best to provide a uniform to any student who comes to school out of uniform. Students who repeatedly and intentionally violate our uniform policy and continue to come to school out of uniform may be placed in ISS. Subsequent offenses could result in a student being placed on virtual learning. Extenuating circumstances will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
For the safety of everyone, students are not allowed to wear the following items in school (at any time), or on any dress-down days:
